Triple Tiara Tuesday...

Welcome to another addition of Triple Tiara Tuesday. This week the challenge was a sketch. Here is the sketch we were asked to use

And here is my take on the sketch I used Aquarius for the challenge I really like how it came out. I stamped one of the images on Black cardstock in white ink and left it didn't add anything else to it.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to stop by Linda and Maria's blogs to see their inspiration. Also hit the QKD blog as well.

Happy Monday

Today i'm going to share with you my post at the Whimsical Ink Sorority which i am DT on you can find the Blog here ----> http://whimsicalinksorority.blogspot.com/

Happy monday everyone.. I hope you had an awesome weekend. I know I did.

Today I am showing you Libby by Maigan Lynn. She is such a versatile girl I really love how I was able to use her for this card I am about to show you.

I decided to make an Easel Card and go for a punk look with it. If you would like step by step intruction I will include them at the end of the post for you so you can try and make your own card.

The colours I chose for the card are dark byt I think you will agree it balances out in the end. So without further ado here is my card called Live Laugh Love.

Isn't she pretty I love how it all came together.

Products used:
Co'redinations Black Cardstock
Fancy Pants Designs It's The Little Things Four Birds
Fancy Pants Designs It's The Little Things Pecking Order
Fancy Pants Designs It's The Little Things Glitter Cuts
Copics
Pencil Crayons
Black Versa Mark Ink
Libby Stamp

Now for the instructions

1. ( depending how big of a card you want I'll tell you the dimensions of mine)
Cut a piece of card stocK 7 x 12. Measure at 3 inches and 6 inches and score these lines

2. Prefold all score lines.

3. Cut another piece of card stock at 7 x 6

4. Place the 7 x 6 piece on the first fold line. Line up the edges and adhere the pieces together.

5. Decorate the card front

To make the easel card stand up by itself, add an embellishment or an extra layer (for this sample, it's the punched layer) the inside of your card. This that will keep the card front from closing.

It is best to have that embellishment or layer at least 1/3" into the card from the bottom up.

Have a great day...

In The Hood

Happy Sunday everyone I know it's been a while since I have had any layouts on my blog but today i have one to show you... I used Scraptastic Club's May " In The Hood" kit. I love how versatile this kit is featuring Crate Paper's Neighborhood Collection. The embellishments and extras that Jessica put with this kit are phenomenal. So go over and check out her blog and website to see what kits she has available I guarentee you won't be disappointed. Here is the Website for you to check out the kits. http://www.scraptasticclub.com/

The layout I created is a play on the Kit Title my layout is called " The Boys In My Hood" I think the photo of my 3 youngest sons is gorgeous they just had school pictures done two weeks ago and these turned out beautifully don't you think? I must say I definately have gorgeous kids I know I'm prejudiced I am their mom after all :)

The first two pictures are to show you the dimension of the layout I created using Tombow Double-sided Foam adhesive tabsfrom the Craft Collection. I also used Tombow's Stamp Runner also from The Craft Collection.

The last Picture is the scanned layout so you really can't see the dimension the layout has

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Sunday
